A Study on the Effects on Samyutang and Gamisamyutang

Abstract
|
|
|
Experimental Studies were done to research the clinical effect of Samyutang and Gamisamyutang, which has been widely used in Oriental medicine for cure of cough and dyspnea.
@ES The result was obtained as follows;
@EN 1) In the effect of Samyutang and Gamisamyutang on the rate of viscousity sampled from Mucin, Samyutang and Gamisamyutang were revealed to have a significant effect of decreasing the rate of viscousity (p<0.05), p<0.01).
2) In the effect of Samyutang and Gamisamyutang on sodium arachidonate induced pulmonary Thromboembolism, Samyutang and Gemisamyutang were revealed to have and effect of increasing the rate survival.
3) In the effect of Samyutang and Gamisamyutang on A. D. P induced pulmonary Thromboembolism, Samyutang and Gamisamyutang were revealed to have an effect on increasing the rate of survival.
4) In the effect of Samyutang and Gamisamyutang on lung T. B. A values in rats exposed 93, Samyutang and Gamisamyutang were revealed to have a significant effect (p<0.01, p<0.01) on the care of lung damages.
5) In the effect of Samyutang and Gamisamyutang on K+ level in serum electrolyte of rats exposed -O3, Samyutang and Gamisamyutnag were revealed to have an effect of improving the electrolyte inpediment but not have an significant effect.
6) In the effect of samyutang and Gamisamyutang on Na+ level in serum electrolyte of rats exposed -O3, Samyutang and Gamisamyutang were revealed to have a significant effect (p<0.05, p<0.05).
In connection with the results of the studies, Samyutang and Gamisamyutang are concluded to be effective on the treatment of cough, dyspnea and lung and respiratory organ damages.
